The following list of equipment can be designed and manufactured as per below:
Early Production Facilities (EPF)
IES can provide solution for early production of oil and gas from wells where capacities are limited and direct pipeline transportations are neither available nor economically viable. The EPF will be skid mounted systems and units ready for installation and tie-in to wellhead system. The EPF will be equipped with all required safety systems for well shutdown, control and data acquisition (depending on client requirements).
Test Separators (Equipped, Skid or Trailer Mounted)
IES offers Test Separator, fully equipped with all required instrumentations and controls for testing oil and gas wells on site. The test separator can be 3-phase or 2-phase in accordance with Company requirements. The Test Separator will be skid type and can be mounted on a trailer or civil structure as desired by Company.
H2S & CO2 Scavenger & Adsorbent Units
H2S Scavenger vessels provide producers and midstream companies a safe and efficient alternative to amine treating, where H2S is present in gas streams and CO2 is at spec or below. IES can offer both liquid scavenger towers as well as SULFATREAT® media type towers. Both are designed to eliminate H2S in its entirety.
IES Team of process engineers provides consulting services to analyze which type of process will be the most economical and effective in the removal of H2S. Our units can be skid mounted ready for tie-in with all essential instrumentation and controls as required which includes Process calculations, Equipment sizing and design and Fabrication.
Amine Treating Plant
Amine treating plants remove CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2S (hydrogen sulfide) from natural gas. The process is known as gas sweetening or acid gas removal, commonly referred to as amines. Gases containing H2S and CO2 are commonly referred to as sour or acid gases. Sour gas is undesirable for several reasons:
- H2S is an extremely poisonous and lethal gas
- Sour Gas can be very corrosive to pipeline infrastructure
- Specifically, CO2 can hamper processing plants due to freeze ups
Due to the reasons stated above, most pipelines require natural gas to adhere to “pipeline spec” of less than 4 ppm of H2S and no more than 2-3% of CO2. Prior to entering cryogenic processing plants, CO2 specifications can be as low as 50 ppm.
IES offer Small to medium scale Amine units. The units will be skid mounted, fully equipped with required machinery, instrumentation and controls. IES has vendors from Canada and USA for providing such facilities, including but not limited to Process calculations and equipment sizing and design.
Dehydration Skids
When natural gas is produced from the reservoir, it is typically saturated with water vapor. In order to meet the pipeline specification, that water vapor needs to be removed. For sales of gas in warmer climates, water content for pipeline quality specifications should not exceed 7 pounds per million standard cubic feet. At a minimum, glycol dehydration units must typically meet this specification. Further removal may be required if additional hydrate formation temperature depression is required, such as upstream of a cryogenic process or gas plant. IES can supply many sizes of Triethylene Glycol (TEG) dehydration units to remove entrained water from the gas stream.
Slug Catcher
IES can supply Slug Catcher which is a piece of static equipment in the form of a vessel which contains sufficient buffer volume to handle the largest expected slug from the oil & gas pipeline systems or flowlines. Flowlines carrying multiphase fluids (Crude Oil, Gas, Water, mixtures) often form damaging slugs. Slug catchers protect the equipment and support from abrupt failure due to forces generated because of slug flow. We can offer complete SKID which includes Engineering, Design, Fabrication of Vessels, provision of instrumentation and control ready for field erection and operation.
